Hundreds of Puneites from various walks of life turned up at the head office of the Sakal Media Group in Budhwar Peth on Friday evening to be a part of its ‘Foundation Day’ celebrations.
Shri. Prataprao Pawar, Chairman, Sakal Media Group along with Mr. Abhijit Pawar, Managing Director were present and accepted the greetings and good wishes of the people. The other top officials of the group, including Mr. Shriram Pawar, Chief Editor were also present.
The list of prominent personalities who attended the celebration included Mr. Girish Bapat, Guardian Minister, Pune; Mr. Vijay Shivtare, State Irrigation Minister; Mr. Dilip Kamble, State Minister of Social Justice; Mr. Dattatraya Dhankawade, Mayor; Mr. KK Pathak, Pune Police Commissioner; Mr. Kunal Kumar, Pune Municipal Corporation Commissioner; Mrs. Ashwini Kadam, Chairman of standing committee, PMC; Mr. S Chockalingam, Pune Divisional Commissioner; Mr. Mahesh Zagade, Chief Executive Officer, Pune Metropolitan Regional Development Authority; Mr. Anil Shirole, Pune Lok Sabha member; Mr. Aba Bagul, Deputy Mayor; and city presidents of various political parties among others.
