Sakal Lifestyle and Furniture Expo held at Pandit Farms on its second day experienced a huge crowd of shopping lovers especially homemakers.
It has around 250 stalls that display a variety of furniture, home decor, cookware items, food and spices, jewellery, dress materials and saris. The expo caters to all required home needs especially for the upcoming festival seasons.
Kalayani Mengale and Jyoti Ranade, two friends who love to shop together, did not want to miss this opportunity. They said, “We have been visiting this exhibition for the third time and it looks quite big and beautiful. We had actually come to buy potteries but we bought lens solutions and there are quite attractive mobile kits here.”
Nilambari Namjoshi and Sadanand Namjoshi went around the stalls carrying bags full of goodies. “I love to shop here, I have been coming to Sakal Lifestyle & Furniture Expo since it began. I get products of good quality here which have reasonable price and there are a lot of options to choose from,” said Nilambari. “The quality of the exhibition has improved and it has more stalls this time,” they added.
Sarika Jadhav was at the expo for a purpose as she shopped for her new home. She said, “I would be the first one to rush here whenever I read about this exhibition. I am always surprised by the new and better collections they provide us, which eventually force me to buy and try it out. This time I am looking for home decors and found good furniture here. There are a lot of options in sofas and rocking chairs.” Jadhav added, “I also found some prasad items as well as decoration materials for Ganesh Chaturthi.”
Another shopper, Vahida Ghodke, who was also there to shop to decorate her new home, said, “This place is a saviour for me as I don’t have to roam around for little things. I get it all here under one roof from furniture to curtains, portraits and lanterns. They have really beautiful and attractive options for us,” said Ghodke.
