Dr. Amir Kfir introduces the GIN Forum concept
Dr. Amir Kfir, the world famous ‘Forum Coach’ graced the event as a guest and instructor. Dr. Kfir introduce the methodology of GIN and demonstrated some of its fundamental concepts via an interactive session with the young adults who were full of enthusiasm and took keen interest in the forum process. Dr.Kfir asked students to proactively come up with their issues, questions and articulated wishes(for.eg. “how can I start my own venture in micro finance?”) within small groups wherein the others in the group would provide only experiential feedback. This would be based on their own exposure, perception, knowledge and understanding of the specific issue, thereby leading to a participative session where each member “related” to the issue concerned in a highly personalized yet empathetic manner. The problem was thereby explored from different angles and mode of addressing the problem was facilitated.
There was also an informal but highly interesting Q&A session between Mr. Abhijit Pawar and the students and young working professionals. The evening came to a fun filled culmination with the musical beats of Indian tabla maestro Dhruv, who enthused everyone with his energy and had members grooving to his fusion rhythms.
The attendees showed great enthusiasm and expressed their interest in joining and being associated with this network. The Karlsruhe chapter will officially be launched in September, 2015. Around 20-25 students and working professionals will be selected by the GIN team for mentoring.
