Nepal experienced the most devastating earthquake on Saturday. Sakal Relief Fund has a long tradition of supporting victims of natural disasters. It appeals to all readers to donate funds for the victims of the earthquake in Nepal and north India. As an initial contribution, Sakal Relief Fund has donated Rs 25 lakh towards this fund.
Please note the following matters:
1. Sakal Media Group has made arrangements in offices of various editions to receive the donations between 10 am and 5 pm.
2. Donations will not be accepted in the form of material clothes and any other kinds.
3. People can donate the cash personally or they can send it by post or demand draft. Cheques or demand drafts should be issued in favour of ‘Sakal Relief Fund’.
4. Cash donated is eligible for tax exemption under the Section 80 G of the Income Tax Act.
