Healthy Tiffin competition organised by ‘Sakaal Tanishka Madhurangan’ receives enormous response.
The air got filled with an aroma of spices as Chef Shailendra Kekade and Chef Vishnu Manohar showcased their culinary skills through live demonstrations of various recipes. The Healthy Tiffin competition was organised by ‘Sakaal Tanishka Madhurangan’ and presented by ‘Suhaana’. Queries of ladies who attended the event interspersed with Chef Manohar’s humour, thereby, making the competition extremely interesting.
Rashmi Mahamuni, Swati Porwal, Roopali Shinde and Khurshid Bano Sha Malik bagged the prizes sponsored by ‘Hapuswadi Resorts, Dapoli’, whereas, Sapna Safai, Pallavi Pandit and Sarita Loya bagged the prizes sponsored by ‘Hypercity’ in the competition. The jury panel was graced by the presence of Yoga Guru Dr. Nitin Unkule, Shilpa Shirole-Khandelwal and Anjali Puranik. While the co-sponsor for the competition was the ‘Food Food channel’, ‘Hypercity’ and ‘Hapuswadi Resorts, Dapoli’ sponsored the prizes, ‘Wonderchef’ sponsored the material/ingredients and ‘Shubharambha Lawns’ sponsored the site for the event.
While demonstrating various recipes, Chef Vishnu Manohar shared minute details and some very useful tips for preparing tasty food items. He also demonstrated several gravy preparations like Paneer Butter Masala, Kadhai Paneer and Savji among others.
Chef Shailendra Kekade fondly said, “In earlier days, the food culture was region-specific. But in today’s global age, recipes have crossed regional and international boundaries. Taking this into consideration, we used many new ingredients and fished out dishes which were well appreciated by the ladies present.”
Mr. Sagar Pande of ‘Suhaana Masala’ also demonstrated some recipes. The competition was hosted by Manjiri Phadnis, Co-editor of Tanishka magazine.
