Pune: Hon’ble Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis appreciated the Sakal Media Group’s unbiased coverage of news and various social initiatives taken up by the group.
Speaking at the Punyabhushan Award function, the CM said that, “Under the leadership of Shri Pratap Pawar, the Sakal Media Group has always progressed with a sense of social responsibility.”
Mr. Fadnavis opined that Sakal was the guiding force behind the ‘Jalyukta Shivar’ water conservation initiative of the Maharashtra government. He also praised members of the Tanishka Women’s Dignity Forum of the Sakal Media Group who supported this initiative of the government. “People like Pratap Pawar are an inspiration for the society. He has led with example by initiating a number of social projects while leading the media group. While working for the good of the society, it is also important that one inspires others to contribute and do their part,” Fadnavis said.
Sakal is the guiding force behind the Jalyukta Shivar initiative of the Maharashtra government. The enthusiastic support from all Tanishka members played a major role in making the Jalyukta Shivar initiative a success.
