The two-day Sakal Vastu property exhibition concluded on Sunday. Organised by Sakal Media Group, the expo saw hundreds of people visiting on Sunday.
The grand expo was held at The Orchid Hotel in Balewadi, where many big and small builders and constructors displayed their housing projects. The majority of the visitors were keen to enquire about the effect of demonetisation and currency crunch on the real estate market. The realtors’ and builders’ stalls at the expo helped the visitors with their enquiries, and the sales and marketing professionals were eager to put the anxious minds of the prospective buyers at ease about the whole issue.
Since it was the last day of the expo, the number of visitors were more. “The response has been quite positive and people are giving a serious thought to buying properties. Due to the currency issue, people were also asking for discounts,” said Jayant Girdhar, Senior Executive, Marketing, Paranjape Schemes.
“I wanted a school and shopping market close to the property, and I got this information at the expo, along with many options for a house suiting my budget,” said Aarti Salve, who visited the expo with her family.
Another visitor, Devendra Singh, said, “The assistance provided at the expo is great and the information given about each property is detailed. I have got a general idea of what the rates are in each area.”
The property expo was a good mix of 1, 2, 2.5 and 3 BHK flats, as well as plots located across Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad. Commercial property spaces were also displayed.
Dajikaka Gadgil Developers, Paranjape Schemes, Vinayak Hills, FDCC, Woodwinds, Naiknavare Developers, Mont Vert, Pyramid, Laukik, Essen group and Regency Landmarks were some of the developers at the expo.
